Youth Exchange “Dance for Change”

WHAT?

The project is open for the all styles dancers, who are willing to share the vision of their own dance, and how movement can be expressed and combined. During the project, dancers will exchange their experiences and artistry through freestyle sessions, getting to know each other’s dance styles, their histories, and impact. The main goal and outcome of the project is the creation of a video centered around a social message which can be conveyed through dance. Participants will be expected to discuss social issues, dilemmas, stereotypes and biases. After selecting a topic, choreograph a dance performance that addresses the chosen issue.

WHO?

• Residents of Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belgium, Spain

• Aged 18-30 (group leader 20+)

• Committed in every phase of the project

• Intermediate or upper level dancer

• Street style dancer

• Open to freestyle

All the costs are covered by Erasmus+. Travel reimbursements can be found from the infopack.
