Youth Exchange “Equality has no Gender”

WHAT?

Gender equality has been a topic of discussion for a long time and it is still an issue very much present and pressing in our society today. With this project we want to:

• Provide a comprehensive and collaborative definition of gender equality and an outline of key issues to explore the notion of gender equality and its connection with different concepts and impact in different social areas

• To promote youth action in finding solutions and fighting gender inequalities in their communities.

• Raise awareness on issues such as gender-based violence, sexism, unpaid work, women's empowerment, consent, activism, privilege and intersectionality...

and a lot more!

WHO?

• Aged 18-30 (group leader 18+)

• 5 participants + 1 group leader

• Interested in the topic gender equality

• With fewer opportunities (can be health issues, economical, geographical, cultural or something else)

Braga, Portugal

All the costs are covered by Erasmus+. Travel reimbursement is up to 530€ per person.

There is a 20€ participation fee for the sending organisation.
